Meet the Hosts of The Writers' Manor

Journalist and award-winning poet Allan Roy Andrews has worked as an editor/reporter for The Boston Globe,The Raleigh News & Observer, and was editor and columnist for Pacific Stars and Stripes in Tokyo. Formerly an associate professor of literature and writing at Johnson State College in Vermont, he also served as an adjunct faculty member at Chesapeake College in Maryland, and as a freelance editor.  Recently, he and his wife relocated to Augusta, Georgia. Allan's poems have appeared in Aethlon, Theology Today, and the 2011 anthology of the Maryland Writers Association (MWA), Life in Me Like Grass on Fire. His poems won first and second prize in the MWA's 2011 Poetry Contest.  headshotpris.jpg Priscilla Blair Strapp, award-winning writer and educator, claims to get goose bumps when language is handled deftly.  Her publishing credits include ghostwritten full-length nonfiction, magazine articles, and training materials.  She is also a contributing author to the Cup of Comfort series.  Priscilla has earned recognition for her own fiction from several contests including the 2011 Maryland Writers Association Novel Contest.
 val.JPG  Developmental Editor Valerie Davis has a deep love of stories that compellingly capture the human experience in any genre.  An avid reader, she has served as creative and technical editor for various works of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.  An alumna of the National Writing Project, Valerie currently blogs at "City Mouse Philly."
